The 2006 season of The Bachelor is shaping up to be something special. It even takes place in Paris!

This blog was created on behalf of Chris Harrison, ABC Networks host of "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette". Here we will be able to discuss all things bachelor. Everything and everyone from all seasons. We can even discuss the "Designers' Challenge" on HGTV which is also hosted by Chris. Please note that Chris cannot make any comments in regards to The Bachelor due to contract infringement rules with ABC. However, he is allowed to read your posts and make comments afterwards.

There have been hundreds of people who've taken a shot at love on The Bachelor -- but Travis Stork (the 2006 Bachelor) may be the most impressive yet. He was Magna cum laude at Duke University, top of the class in medical school and now lives in Nashville saving hundreds of lives as an ER doctor.

In the very first episode (aired: 01/09/2006 ) we see him on the job and even meet a patient whose life he saved. Host Chris Harrison gets the season opener started at the grand and historic 14th-century French chateau where the Bachelor will be living.
